Pastor Zill Accepts Divine Call

Dear everyone,

I am writing to inform you that I have accepted the Divine Call that I received from the saints at Shepherd of the Lutheran Church in Payson, Arizona.  I also returned a second Divine Call that I had likewise received from the flock at St Andrew Lutheran Church in Albuquerque, NM.

Yes, as I announced at our welcome back event, I was prayerfully deliberating two calls, which was necessary for me to do so as we had determined that the campus ministry could no longer support a full or half time pastor.

I look forward to serving Shepherd of the Pines in Payson to the best of my abilities and remaining in both Arizona and the English District, but I will certainly miss campus ministry and all of you.  I am grateful to leave things in the capable hands of Pastor Isaac Wirtz and I look forward to hopefully numerous times that our paths will cross again.

In the words of St. Paul to the church in Corinth, "I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus." (1 Cor. 1:4)
